Need answers now?  Why don't you try calling your bank right now?  Ask them what the payments would be on say... $300,000 and what the mortgage insurance would cost them with 5%.  I would be willing to bet that after at least 15 minutes on the phone you still won't have the answers you seek.  Better yet, spend some time trying to get the answers to several mortgage questions.
