Act Before the Foreclosure Happens

Whatever the circumstances, nobody wants to lose their home.  Unfortunately for lots of people these days it is becoming quite the reality.  For whatever the reason.  Recent changes to mortgage rules are going to force a lot of people in the next couple of years in to foreclosure.  There are really no options for some people.
Personally I think that is the single worst conversation ever.  I don't like to ever have to tell somebody that they don't have any options.  That the only thing they have left to do is sell their house.  I will do whatever I can to attempt to help.

I think it is really important for people to realize when the time is right to start looking for help.  Don't wait until you are behind a couple of payments to start seeking out options.  Especially don't wait until you get to where there is a for sale sign on your lawn.

Discuss your situation with your mortgage lender before you get in to one with them.  Some times your lender can help by allowing you to skip a payment.  There are also sometimes options to extend your amortization period to lower the payments.  Speaking to a mortgage professional may help you come up with some ideas as well.  The bank or mortgage lender does not want to own your home.

If you or somebody you know is getting in to a situation with their house please contact me so I can attempt do whatever I can to help.
